Our people abroad: Help Lebanon

Our people abroad: Help Lebanon
From the depths of pain, hope is born.

More than a million families have been forcibly displaced from their homes, fleeing the bombing and Israeli strikes on Lebanon.
Thousands of displaced families are living in tragic conditions due to the current situation. Mothers, children, people with disabilities, and the wounded are searching for safe shelter, food, and medical care.
Winter is approaching, and their needs are increasing amid economic and health challenges. Every donation is a life saved. We are here to be the hope they seek.

Lebanon is facing a multidimensional crisis that combines economic, health, and energy issues, directly affecting citizens' lives and complicating the state's ability to provide basic needs.
Some of the major challenges Lebanon faces include:

  • Currency Collapse: The Lebanese pound has lost significant value against the US dollar since the end of 2019, leading to sharp price increases and a decrease in purchasing power.
  • Refugees: Lebanon hosts over a million Syrian and Palestinian refugees, placing additional strain on the economy and limited resources.
  • High Poverty Levels: A large percentage of the population lives below the poverty line, affecting access to food and healthcare.
  • Unemployment: Unemployment has risen significantly, with poverty rates affecting more than 70% of the population.
  • Political Crisis: The presidential vacancy and ineffective state institutions make it difficult to respond to the scale of the disaster.
  • Healthcare: Lebanon suffers from severe shortages in medications and medical supplies due to the economic crisis, complicating healthcare provision, especially for chronic medications.
  • Food Prices: Inflation makes it difficult for many families to secure their basic food needs.

Contribute today to provide warmth and essential care for children and families struggling to survive.
Your donation makes a significant difference in their lives, offering them relief from the impact of the war.
