Honoring Ceremony for the Lecturers, Winners, and Members of the Women's Committee in the Bekaa Villages

The Women's Committee affiliated with Dar Al-Fatwa in the Bekaa organized a celebration in Azhar Al-Bekaa to honor the winners of the Fiqh of Fasting and Quran Memorization competition. The event also honored the lecturers and members of the Women's Committee in the Bekaa villages on Sunday, May 14, 2023. The ceremony was held under the patronage and presence of the Mufti of Zahle and the Bekaa, Dr. Sheikh Ali Al-Ghazawi, with the attendance of Mr. Wissam Al-Ghazawi, representing the honorable Deputy Hassan Murad, the General Coordinator of the Future Movement in the Middle Bekaa, the Mayor of Majdal Anjar, Hajj Saeed Yassin, the President of the Middle Bekaa Mukhtars Association, Mr. Ali Yousef, the Dean of the Faculty of Pharmacy, Dr. Mohammad Rahhal, Sheikh Abdel Nasser Al-Khatib, and a distinguished group of scholars, preachers, judges, residents, village leaders, and mayors.

The ceremony began with the recitation of verses from the Holy Quran by the student Suad Al-Ajmi. Then, Mrs. Shukran Hameed, the Chairwoman of the Women's Committee, delivered a speech welcoming the attendees. She presented the committee's activities since its inception, expressed gratitude to the sponsors of the event, and thanked the lecturers for their efforts during the blessed month of Ramadan.

The next speech was given by Sheikh Bilal Shahada, representing the lecturers, expressing gratitude to the Women's Committee for their efforts.

The Mufti, Dr. Ghazawi, delivered a welcoming speech, praising the efforts of the Women's Committee. He expressed appreciation and loyalty to the late Mufti Al-Mays, saying, "Here, we build a state through the descendants of Mufti Al-Mays until they become future leaders, God willing."

The ceremony concluded with the honoring of the winners, lecturers, and members of the Women's Committee in the Bekaa villages. May Allah make them memorizers of His Book and benefit the country and its people through them.
