His Eminence, the Mufti of Zahle and the Bekaa, Dr. Sheikh Ali Al-Ghazawi, received a delegation from the army leadership in the Bekaa region, headed by the region's commander, Brigadier General Roger Latouf, accompanied by Brigadier General Walid Khoury, Brigadier General Wissam Al-Hajj, Brigadier General Jihad Kashour, Brigadier General Riad Janbayn, Brigadier General Abdel Nasser Al-Halabi, Colonel Jihad Abu Ali, Colonel Qasim Al-Khatib, Colonel Abbas Yaghi, and Colonel Salah Aloueh, in a visit for acquaintance. During the meeting, the situation in the Bekaa region was discussed.
The delegation expressed their gratitude to His Eminence, the Mufti, for his positive stance in promoting dialogue and coexistence, and appreciated the efforts of the military institution.
On his part, His Eminence praised the role played by the military institution in protecting the country.
