The Mufti of Zahle and Bekaa meets with the Minister of Institutional Relations

The Honorable Mufti of Zahle and Bekaa, Dr. Sheikh Ali Al-Ghazawi, visited His Excellency the Minister of Institutional Relations, Alexandre Padilha, at the Presidential Palace of Brazil, accompanied by the esteemed Ambassador Carla Jazzar.
The accompanying delegation included the Head of the Expatriates Department, Sheikh Abdul Nasser Al-Khatib, Sheikh Asim Al-Jarrah, Secretary of the Bekaa Fatwa Office, the Financial Director of the Bekaa Fatwa Institutions, Mr. Kamal Al-Din Al-Afesh, Vice President of the Islamic Charitable Society in São Paulo, Youssef Abbas, businessman and President of the Union of Islamic Institutions in Brazil, Mr. Mohammad Al-Zoghbi, the Representative of the Fatwa Office in Brazil, Sheikh Ali Al-Khatib, and the Coordinator of the Future Movement in Central Bekaa, Hajj Saeed Yassin.
For his part, Mufti Al-Ghazawi thanked the Minister for his efforts in maintaining the Lebanese community and liaising with the Brazilian state for the benefit of this community. He also affirmed Lebanon's moral support for Brazil in all fields.
The Minister thanked Mufti Al-Ghazawi for this auspicious visit and for meeting with many members of the Lebanese community from all sects.
