The Mufti of Zahle and Bekaa Launches a Cooperation Protocol between Al-Azhar Al-Bekaa Institutions - Dar Al-Fatwa Bekaa and Rafik Hariri University

His Eminence Mufti of Zahle and Bekaa, Dr. Sheikh Ali Al-Gazzawi, launched a cooperation protocol between Rafik Hariri University and the institutions of Al-Azhar Al-Bekaa - Dar Al-Fatwa Bekaa, in the presence of Vice President for Academic Affairs Dr. Mahmoud Halablab, Vice President for Administrative and Financial Affairs Dr. Ibrahim Akkaoui, Dr. Mohamed Taha, Administrative Director Sheikh Omar Janbiyeh, Educational Director Mrs. Mariam Al-Mays, Director of the Zakat Fund Mr. Kamal Al-Afesh, member of the Supreme Islamic Sharia Council Lawyer Mohamed Al-Ajami, and the administrative council of Al-Azhar Al-Bekaa institutions, along with a group of esteemed scholars and sheikhs.

In his speech after signing the cooperation agreement between the two institutions, His Eminence said, "With the launch of the two institutions, we remember the founders, the late Mufti Sheikh Khalil Al-Mays and the martyred Prime Minister Rafik Hariri, to say that men may depart with their share and fate in life, but their legacy and institutions bear witness to their work."

He pointed out: "Among the blessings of God upon us is that the institutions of Dar Al-Fatwa in the Lebanese Republic present themselves to the nation with educational, social, and health institutions, whether in the capital or in the regions."

He confirmed: "Through the cooperation agreement between the educational institutions here in Dar Al-Fatwa Bekaa, this agreement serves a generation, individuals, and Bekaa residents and non-residents alike through these institutions."

Dr. Mahmoud thanked Mufti Al-Gazzawi and pointed to their goal of providing high-level education to the esteemed students. He added: "We have obtained international accreditation for five years, and our institution is non-profit to provide education for all students from different social classes."
