The Mufti Al-Ghazzawi from the Friday pulpit: I ask Allah to grant us security, safety, and Islam in our country and in all other countries

His Eminence, Mufti of Zahle and the Bekaa, Dr. Sheikh Ali Al-Ghazzawi, emphasized during the Friday sermon he delivered in the town of Al-Sultan Yacoub Al-Tahta the importance of seizing these blessed days with good deeds, obedience, and drawing closer to Allah, the Almighty. He said, "These virtuous nights and days of the first ten days of Dhu al-Hijjah are seeking us, so where are we in the fields of goodness, worship, judgment, and adjudication, and in the field of giving charity and maintaining kinship ties." He added, "Lead your families to Allah in these days when Allah has opened the doors of forgiveness and mercy, so stand in prayer at night, fast during the day, and give charity from the surplus of your wealth." He referred to the resistance and jihad of the people of Gaza, the honor, in the land of steadfastness, saying, "Be with them in their jihad; if one of you cannot participate in jihad with his body, let him do so with his wealth. And if one cannot perform Hajj to the House of Allah, let him be as if on Hajj, seeking Allah's pleasure in all his affairs." Regarding the recent events that took place in Lebanon, he said, "We are a nation that strives for life, security, and aims for its security to be universal on earth." He concluded, "I ask Allah to grant us security, safety, and Islam in our country and in all other countries."
