Sacrifices Project for the Year 1445 AH - 2024 AD

Under the guidance of His Eminence the Mufti of Zahle and Bekaa, Dr. Sheikh Ali Al-Ghazawi, and managed by the Director of the Zakat Fund Bekaa Branch, Mr. Kamal Al-Din Al-Afash, most beneficiaries of the Zakat Fund Bekaa Branch were covered within the Sacrifices Project for the year 1445 AH - 2024 AD. In detail, 19 calves and 22 sheep were sacrificed on behalf of their owners, following full health standards, necessary cooling requirements, and the proper religious conditions for sacrifices. The weight of the distributed meat exceeded six thousand kilograms (6 tons), distributed to more than 2000 beneficiary families in the central and western Bekaa region, including orphans, widows, the disabled, and the poor.
