The Mufti of Zahle and the Bekaa, Dr. Sheikh Ali Ghazawi, congratulates the army on its 79th anniversary

His Eminence Mufti Ghazawi congratulated the Lebanese Army, its leadership, officers, and soldiers on its 79th anniversary, saying:
"Our homeland Lebanon, especially, and the Palestinian cause and our Arab world, in general, are going through dangerous crossroads. The military institution, with its leadership and all its members, has proven that it remains steadfast in times of change and that it has not and will not take a break from its work. It has remained firm alongside the security institution, as if they are the hope through which we restore our other institutions to keep our state intact.
Our military institution’s weapon will continue to be a guarantee for guarding the homeland and its citizens. It will remain the weapon agreed upon by all components of the nation, standing alongside a people who refuse to let the enemy harm their land and citizens.
Greetings to the men of our state from the land, people, and nation, which will remain through your dedication to the interests of the people and the country.
We hope that all state institutions will remain cohesive, just as you are.
May Allah protect our homeland Lebanon and its army.
