The women's committee organized the Al-Azhar Royal Apparel Project for purchasing Eid clothes for orphans on Saturday, March 2, 2024, at Dar Al-Fatwa, Baalbek, with the presence of His Eminence the Mufti of Zahle and Bekaa, Dr. Sheikh Ali Al-Ghazawi, the Head of the Bekaa Endowments Department, Sheikh Mohammad Abdul Rahman, the General Coordinator of the Future Movement, Mayor of Majdal Anjar, Hajj Saeed Yassin, businessman Mr. Alaa Al-Deen Al-Shamali, and other honorable participants, scholars, sheikhs, members of municipal and voluntary councils, association presidents, and residents from various towns and villages in the Bekaa region.

The event commenced with a speech by Mrs. Shukran Hameed, followed by the recitation of verses from the Noble Quran by Azhar student Osman. The chairwoman of the women's committee reiterated the project's aim, which is to bring joy to the hearts of orphans through Eid clothing.

Next, businessman Mr. Alaa Al-Deen Al-Shamali, representing the sponsors, delivered a speech, expressing gratitude for their contribution to this project and commending the efforts of the women's committee for its charitable activities. He also praised the role of His Eminence Sheikh Al-Ghazawi in supporting these activities.

The Mufti of Zahle and Bekaa, Dr. Sheikh Ali Al-Ghazawi, then spoke, expressing his loyalty and dedication to the late scholar Mufti Khalil Al-Mays, recalling his words: "I want a civilized action."

Sheikh Al-Ghazawi praised the committee's efforts in this project, the proceeds of which will go towards purchasing Eid clothes for orphans. He added: "We want to restore women to their role as makers of generations. Therefore, if a woman wants to raise generations, she must possess masculine qualities, not by transitioning from femininity to masculinity, but by embodying masculine virtues to have a place in our society."

This event was distinguished by modest and veiled attire, aiming to encourage and remind our sisters of Islamic dress and to present the image of a chaste woman, in addition to the noble goal of purchasing Eid clothes for orphans.

We thank the hero Danny Dory Saleh for breaking his piggy bank filled with a year's worth of savings to donate Eid clothes for orphans. May Allah reward you and make you among the righteous.

Finally, the names of the winners who participated in purchasing clothes from the exhibition were drawn, and gifts were presented to them. We thank everyone who contributed and donated, and may Allah accept our good deeds.
