Under the patronage and presence of His Eminence, the Mufti of Zahle and the Bekaa, Dr. Sheikh Ali Gazzawi, the administration of Al-Azhar of the Bekaa held the 33rd graduation ceremony for its students who obtained both official and religious certificates at the intermediate and secondary levels. The ceremony was attended by regional dignitaries, a large number of parents, scholars, religious and civil judges, politicians including ministers and MPs, Bekaa figures, mayors, and heads of municipalities.

The ceremony began with a recitation from the Holy Qur’an by the graduate student Hamza Sanouna, followed by an introduction from Sheikh Walid Abdel Fattah, who welcomed the attendees.

The valedictorian speech was delivered by the outstanding student Amjad Ayman Ziyada from the Life Sciences branch, who expressed his gratitude to the administrative and teaching staff as well as the parents for their support in the journey of excellence and success.

His Eminence, the Mufti of Zahle and the Bekaa, then addressed the audience, welcoming the attendees and expressing his pride in the students of Al-Azhar. He affirmed that the institutions of Al-Azhar of the Bekaa are places for outstanding and distinguished students. He stated, "We renew our hope in our nation, even if some individuals pass away or ascend. If one leader dies, another rises, and if individuals ascend, leaders will arise. The nation will remain fruitful until the Day of Judgment, God willing."

Afterward, the outstanding student Omar Shamouri was honored for his excellence and for achieving first place in the Arab Reading Challenge competition at the national level in Lebanon, representing Lebanon in the UAE. The Arabic language coordinator, Dr. Sheikh Ayman Othman, and educator Mrs. Kholoud Sheikh were also honored.

In conclusion, certificates were distributed to the graduates. Congratulations to our students; we ask God to benefit the country and the people through them.
